Concrete - Creativity has a new home!
The huge building in the middle of Alserkal Avenue is finished: CONCRETE is the new home of creativity , as Vilma Jurkute, the director of Alserkal Avenue, said.
The new venue is the first building in the UAE to be designed by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), founded by Rem Koolhaas.
Its a multi-disciplinary space in the center of the arts and cultural hub in Al Quoz industrial area.
With it’s 1,250 m2, the former warehouse will host exhibitios as well as bespoke events across fashion, film, design and the performing arts.
Concrete opened with Syria: Into the Light, an exhibition of work from the Atassi Foundation's collection.
